About ME!!!

Hey Everyone!!!

Well basically there is so much I can say about myself. Basically I am a dancer, and I love to dance. I have had my fair share of knock backs throughout the dancing world, but I have always come back. I am currently training for Masters In Line Worlds later on in August, I am hoping to be dancing in Masters In Line, All Irelands and All Scotland aswell. Scary stuff I know, but something to aim for. Last year I came 2nd in my division in the eastern side of the U.K. Got a good looking trophey now. I am also a choreographer and have had many dances published. Just Maybe - Linedancer magazine, Listen Boy - BWDA2000 magazine, Amor -  BWDA2000 and a few more. So I am very busy. Because I ama  choreographer I was able to train two girls for competiton last year and they placed 3rd and 4th in the newcomer division, I was so proud of them, in fact i was more proud of them than myself. I am a fully qualified dance teacher in Linedancing and western partner dancing, I qualified 2 years ago with the BWDA2000 in Preston. I celebrated by opening my own class and thoroughly enjoyed it. That was the start of Funky Feet Dancers!!! I was also lucky enough to actually be a medal adjucator, which is fun, gives dancers especially the younger ones something to work for.

I am interested in many other things aswell, I make greeting cards, and hair accessories suitable for weddings and I love to read aswell. So I hope you like my site. Take care xxx

I am trained in.......

Okay here goes.

This is a list of all the dances I have been taught or trained in:-

Linedancing

Western partner Dancing

Irish Dancing

Irish Set Dancing

Scottish Celidh

Ballet

Freestyle

Ballroom

Salsa

Think that is about it, I never did like all of them, but cant be liking everything. I currently train in only Line and Western partner dancing, but I am looking for an Irish dancing class in the area. then I will be back doing that again aswell.

People I admire

Okay, there is so many people I admire, but there is some that really need mentioning.

1. Gerrie Bayley: - Gerrie met me when i was about 13. She was doing a linedance for charity and I went along - from then I was hooked. Since that moment she always said to me she could see the potential in what I do and my talents. I have tried giving up so many times and Gerrie basically wouldnt let me. I am glad she didnt, I wouldnt have won my trophey, ever had the confidence to take my teachers exams, or teach. She is one amazing women. She is currently helping a charity and is doing a brilliant job about it.

2. Lynne Strong and Carole Elder :- I ahve only put these two together because it is for the same reason. I met them about the same time - actually I think I met Carole first. Like Gerrie, they basically adopted me and helped me get through the last few years. Without them, I wouldnt be the person I am today.

3. My Grandad :- Like the others, he has stood by me and supported me, especially when I was just starting out in dance, he bought all my sound equipment so I had something to start with, it was second hand but worked as good as if it would when it was new. He told me never to give up my dreams.

There are many people I am going to mention but not write anything about them, I would be here for hours otherwise.

Tim London ( one of the bezzie mates), Crazy Chris (dancer), Melanie Hindmarsh (dancer), My Mum, My Dad, My Sister Stefanie, Kim Ray ( ex-dance teacher). Ian ( one of the bezzie mates), Jan badkin (ex manager) and finally my fiance Edward for actually putting up with me.

There is many more but if I keep writing them you will get bored eventually.

I love you all!!!
